Bioscience Enterprise – Ideas into Action

Description

The resource pack will provide materials designed to enhance the sustainability of new bioscience ventures by assisting ideas generation, validation, preparation and initial business planning and as such will form the backbone of a new venture creation elective aimed at bioscience students. The resource pack will encourage participants to:

• Generate viable business ideas
• Examine themselves, their behaviours, attitudes, skills and interests within appropriate frameworks
• Help them identify strengths and weaknesses
• Help them to build upon their strengths and to strengthen their weaknesses in the hope that their proposed ventures will be founded upon firmer foundations than would have otherwise been the case

The resource pack will be aimed at students who are either interested in starting their own venture and those who are simply interested in exploring the world of the small business.
