in School, Faculty and University Committees and Working Groups she has had numerous opportunities to disseminate,
exchange and encourage best practice internally and externally. Aine has developed a strong interest in pedagogic
research that has resulted in publications on e-learning and student induction initiatives and she has successfully
obtained research funding to implement additional support material for students prior to studying on a distance
learning programme. She has a key role in e-learning postgraduate provision in her School, where she has fostered
the implementation of problem based e-learning and she is also currently involved in the development and implementation
of an e-learning module in evidence based healthcare practice, a project which is funded by The Higher Education Academy.
