ImageBank needs your help in building a new collection ! ImageBank relies on the generosity of its contributors, and we are seeking contributions for a new Research Collection.
Teaching within the bioscience disciplines has always been informed by research; there is a vital link between research and teaching. This link is reinforced by teachers using their own research in lectures, practical work, and in materials presented in VLE packages. As a result students feel involved in and informed about research and how it is done.
Images are an essential part of this process . Do you use images of your current research as teaching material? Would you be willing to share these images with the wider Bioscience community? It's a quick and effective way to raise awareness of your research amongst a wide audience.
We are compiling a new collection of images of recent and cutting-edge research. We are not asking for hundreds of images (although that would be nice!); a few images illustrating your current or recent research are what we need - these would be included in the collection, and accompanied by a short description of the research and, if you have one, a link to your research website. See Contribute images for details of how to contribute images to ImageBank.
Please consider promoting awareness and understanding of your research by contributing to this valuable educational resource. For all enquiries please contact Sue Grahame at: E.S.Grahame@leeds.ac.uk
