We now have over 7,200 images in our collection , all free and copyright cleared for educational use. And they are used – the feedback we get tells us that ImageBank is an important resource for students and teachers alike.Over the last year ImageBank had over 9000 visitors every month.
We want to continue to improve ImageBank and to add more images , especially in those disciplines which are currently under-represented.
So we are asking for your help.
- Do you create images as part of your research programme?
- Do you take images to use in your teaching resources ?
- Are you a keen natural history photographer ?
- Do you take images as part of your job in bioscience?
If so then would you be willing to share some of your images with the bioscience community through ImageBank?
We are not asking for hundreds of images (although that would be good!) – just a few high quality images accompanied by a short description of each image would help us to meet our target.
