Uploading Images:
You can upload images (preferably JPEGS for photos and GIF for drawings/diagrams) to ImageBank online. We believe one of the strengths of ImageBank is the potential to provide associated descriptive text written by those who have substantial knowledge of the subject matter. We would therefore be grateful if you could supply us with descriptive text (eg. species name, common name, where the photograph was taken, habitat, description of image) to accompany all images you wish to contribute.

Go to Contribute an image, select Click here to contribute your image on line, then please complete the form as much as possible. To select an image for uploading, click on the Browse button which will allow you to search your own PC for the desired image. Once this is found enter the appropiate details about the image. Please select a subject area in which the image could be categorised and relevant keywords. The more keywords attached to the image the more successful the search facility will be. Please add your own details and your institution so that you can be credited for your contribution and copyright agreements can be completed. Please note that Copyright of images remain at all times with the original copyright holder e.g. the contributor(s) of the image, or the contyributor's employer.
