Individual Grants

Over the years the UK Centre for Bioscience's Teaching Development Fund provided support of up to £4000 to individuals to encourage the development, establishment or validation of innovative learning, teaching and assessment materials or methods.

The primary focus of the Fund was to develop and disseminate good practice across the bioscience learning and teaching community. To enhance the likelihood of relevance to other contexts, projects were required to have partners in at least two other higher education institutions and involve 'critical friends' from at least two other higher education institutions.
