Recognition for Learning and TeachingWe believe recognition of good practice for staff who teach and support learning is extremely important. The Higher Education Academy's National Teaching Fellowship Scheme is one way in which such practice is currently identified and celebrated. Many universities award University Teaching Fellowships in recognition of outstanding contributions towards learning and teaching. We wish to celebrate and publicise such successes across the bioscience learning and teaching community and will be compiling a list of names of bioscientists awarded National and University Teaching Fellowships. We hope such a list will enable individuals to identify and make contact with other bioscientists with similiar learning and teaching interests and related expertise. In this section you can also find information on the Academy's Professional Recognition Scheme. There are signfiicant benefits to discussing ideas and differences in practice with colleagues from different institutions. |
