Scottish HE Biology Teachers' Meeting

University of Glasgow, Thursday 30th August 2007

This one day meeting was organised by Anne Tierney and Maureen Griffiths of the University of Glasgow with support from the Centre for Bioscience and was open to HE bioscience teachers from across Scotland. The general theme for the day was empowering students and students contributed to the first session of the day. The main focus of the afternoon was an informal practice-sharing session (swapshop). Throughout the day there were plenty of opportunities for discussion, reflection on practice and to hear ‘real-life' practice from fellow bioscientists from around Scotland.
