Professional Development Event

Using Technology to Enhance Feedbacklogo of the ASSET project

Tuesday 14 December 2010

Whitelands College, Roehampton University London

As providing feedback to students is very much in the spotlight most institutions are keen to raise their score in the National Student Survey. This event explored the use of different digital media for enhancing feedback and feed-forward provision to students. During the event there were opportunities to see how different technologies could help lecturers enhance their feedback provision through:

  • a range of case studies;
  • hands-on media sessions;
  • feedback design activities;
  • discussion sessions;
  • and networking opportunities.

Although the workshop did have a strong bioscience element the material presented was applicable to other disciplines. The day was co-organised by the ASSET project.

The event was followed virtually with the use of #heabio and #fdback tags.
