Professional Development EventTeaching in the Biosciences: an introduction for postgraduates and postdoctoral fellowsMonday 14th March 2011, University of Reading Postgraduates and Postdoctoral Fellows play an increasingly important role in supporting teaching in UK higher education. The UK Centre for Bioscience provides support and resources for teaching staff in UK higher education for the development of teaching, learning and assessment. This event was designed for Postgraduates and Postdoctoral Fellows with an interest in developing their teaching experience, giving them the opportunity to meet Centre staff and Bioscience Representatives and explore issues in Higher Education relevant to their careers. This event was organised by Anne Tierney at the University of Glasgow, and follows on from three similar events organised as part of a Centre funded project. More information about Anne's project.
