An introduction to educational (pedagogic) research in the sciences

Thursday 11th October 2007

University of Salford, Council Chamber, Old Fire Station

This repeat event was based on the very popular day at Oxford Brookes University 1st May 2007. The one day event was aimed at staff from bioscience and other science disciplines who are interested in developing their teaching activities with a view to research leading to publication. The day provided attendees with an opportunity to consider educational (pedagogic) research in a scientific context and how this related to their own practice. The programme included a mixture of presentations and opportunities for discussion and a swapshop element to allow individuals to share and hear early experiences of venturing into the educational evaluation and research arena from fellow scientists.

This event was co-badged by the UK Centre for Materials.
