Effective E–Learning: IT's about pedagogy as well as technology

Manchester Metropolitan University, Wednesday 13 December 2006

This event provided an opportunity for colleagues to discuss practice and share ideas relating to e–learning within the biosciences. The day will included: presentations based on the e–learning mini–projects the Centre funded in 2005; the launch of the Centre's new Teaching Guide on The Effective Use of Information Technology in Teaching Bioscience, with presentations by several authors of case–studies from the Guide; and an outline of the Centre's forthcoming e–learning activities.
