Professional Development Event

Engaging Bioscience Students in Practical Work

Thursday 7th April 2011, University of Bristol, AIMS Centre room 2a/b

Practical work plays an important role in the biosciences and enables students to develop a wide variety of skills and aptitudes. Students can be engaged in practical work in a variety of ways, from designing practicals for other students to undertaking their own research.

This event provided delegates with the opportunity to hear about and discuss the different ways in which teaching practitioners have engaged students with practical work and enabled them to develop their practical skills.
